The airbox we used for earlier testing was a rough duct tape and aluminium sheet piece so a proper job was built.
A heat shield across the rear rocker cover to guide hot air away from the tank. Foam padding to seat everything nice.
A roller on the chain to stop it jumping off over jumps.
The brake lines have to be two separate affairs so we had to sort new lines.
The seat is actually a foam floor mat cut to size and glued on! It works a treat.
Switchblock for tailight and pit lane limiter.

To make it really look the part we sent the bike to get stickered up by a professional. Marty at Underground designs doing a superb job. Number boards made to fit the curved front look spectacular.
With the fuel map roughly done and the ignition timing back to around 42 degrees we went back down to Mount Gambier for final testing on the Mac Park race track. When we left Adelaide at 5 am it was pouring with rain but by the time we got there it had mostly cleared and indeed the sun was out. The track was mostly dry so we got right into it. I did a couple of laps, checked the bike over, made some minor adjustments then headed back out. Did 20 laps before the rain came in. Checked the bike over, moved the lambda sensor to the rear cylinder. When the track had dried a bit went out for another 20. Nothing broke, leaked or hinted at being wrong. The new heel guard BJR made up for me worked well. Could do with a bit of chassis tweaking maybe but we will tune it on Isle of Man where it's going to count. At this stage it goes where I want and gives good feedback. Last time we were here I hit 200 kph on the back straight on a sunny day. With a damp track I was getting 206 kph this time. The engine pulls and pulls with a smooth build up of power.
With the bike now on its way to Isle of Man I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has helped with getting me here either with sponsorship or support in another fashion. The list is huge. South Australia has a great motorcycling community hugely supportive of each other. Great to be a part of.
