So far we have been testing the bike with the mini fairing taken off the 1000 version. The modified front, sides and belly pan have been sent off to be painted. What we have been missing is the oversize fuel tank and seat arrangement. Brian custom builds these from scratch out of fiber glass. The tank is about 18.5 liters with the fuel pump placed so that every last drop can be used. The basis for the seat unit part is the original rear cowl and seat so they look like they belong on the bike. The carbon fiber intake snorkel, shark fin and kevlar/carbon fiber engine guards are also made in house.
The first three pictures are the moulds to make the tank and seat piece. The next photo is a partialy bended battery, ECU, Fuses etc box which sits just under the tank. The Rowe 650 with the new fairing and tank mounted up before being sent off to paint.

Previously I had mentioned an issue we were having with ignition timing being extreme. That problem has now been solved. It would appear the fuel is not getting enough time to fully atomise before the burn begins. By moving the fuel injectors up above the intake trumpet this issue has been resolved. We now have a clean torque curve with more efficient fuel usage.
First picture is where the injector was originally mounted. Second pic is the overhead system this bikes one is now based on. 3rd is a new intake trumpet CAD designed to fit the injector carrier. Next three, fitting up the carrier. Testing this on the dyno was not too hard, without the air box, large fuel tank etc. Now though we need to get it to all fit with the whole package.
